महाराज जी उदाहरण देते हैं कि कमल कीचड़ में पैदा होता है, जल के ऊपर रहता है, लेकिन उसमें कीचड़ का कोई प्रभाव नहीं पड़ता। कमल देवताओं की सेवा में आता है, उसकी पवित्रता बनी रहती है। उसी तरह, शिक्षक को चाहिए कि वह माया (दुष्ट वातावरण) में रहते हुए भी भगवान का बनकर रहे, अपनी पवित्रता और आदर्श बनाए रखे।

बच्चों में भगवान का स्वरूप

महाराज जी कहते हैं, "जितनी देर हम बच्चों को पढ़ाएं, अपने भगवान को उनमें देखें।" अर्थात, शिक्षक को चाहिए कि वह बच्चों को पढ़ाते समय उनमें भगवान का स्वरूप देखे, जिससे उसकी सेवा और समर्पण की भावना बनी रहे।

आर्थिक आवश्यकता और नौकरी

महाराज जी स्वीकार करते हैं कि आज के समय में अर्थ की आवश्यकता है। पति-पत्नी दोनों मिलकर अगर अर्थ कमाते हैं और परिवार का पोषण करते हैं, तो यह अच्छा है। यदि थोड़ी-थोड़ी आय है और परिवार चल रहा है, तो नौकरी छोड़ने की आवश्यकता नहीं है। महाराज जी सलाह देते हैं कि "नौकरी छोड़िए मत। नौकरी करिए लेकिन हिम्मत वाली बनकर करिए। धर्म पूर्वक कीजिए।"
