संत को घर बुलाने की कसौटी
"घर तब बुलाओ किसी संत को जब 10-5 बार उसके यहाँ जाकर उसके आचरण को देख लो, उसका व्यवहार देख लो कि वह पवित्र है। थोड़ी देर के लिए कोई भी पवित्रता का नाटक कर सकता है, इसलिए बार-बार जाकर देखना चाहिए। सच्चे संतों को फुर्सत ही नहीं होती तुम्हारे घर आने की, वे भगवान के भजन में लगे रहते हैं।"

"अगर कोई संत बार-बार खुद आने को तैयार हो जाए, तो समझो मामला गड़बड़ है। सच्चे संत को घर बुलाने के लिए हजार बार प्रार्थना करनी पड़े, तब कहीं जाकर वे आते हैं।"

संत और साधक में अंतर
"सिद्ध संत भुने हुए अन्न के समान होते हैं, उनमें विकार नहीं होता। साधक भगवान के मार्ग में चलने के लिए तैयार हुआ है, वह फिसल सकता है। पाखंडी लोग भेष का आश्रय लेकर समाज को धोखा देते हैं।"

"अगर किसी साधु महात्मा में छूने की चेष्टा, कामुक दृष्टि, या तन-धन की मांग दिखे, तो वहां दोबारा न जाएं और अपने घर न बुलाएं।"

"संत का पहला लक्षण है निरपेक्षता – तुम्हारी सुंदरता, धन, यश उनके लिए कूड़ा है। संत सबको बराबर मानते हैं। अगर कोई संत तुम्हें विशेष प्यार दिखाए, तो वह संत का प्यार नहीं, वह कसौटी पर कसने वाला प्यार है।"

"संत कभी तुम्हारे शरीर, धन या मान पर आसक्त नहीं होते। अगर ऐसा दिखे, तो वह संत नहीं है।"

"आजकल बहुत भीड़ है, बहुत संभलकर रहना चाहिए। अपने प्रवचन, लहजे, हावभाव से जनता को मोहित करना, रुपया निकालना, विषय भोग करना – इन बातों से बचना चाहिए।"

"कभी ऐसा नहीं हो सकता कि किसी सच्चे संत के द्वारा तुम्हारा अमंगल हो। अगर कोई संत गलत व्यवहार करे, तो वह संत नहीं है।"

साधक के लिए एकांतवास
"साधक को समाज से मिलने की अनुमति नहीं है, उसका काम है एकांतवास। सिद्ध पुरुषों का काम है समाज से मिलना। जो सिद्ध का नाटक करता है, माया उसे थप्पड़ मारती है।"

"पाप और अधर्म को छुपाया नहीं जा सकता, जैसे आग कपड़े से नहीं छुपती। गंदी बातें, पाप आचरण खुल ही जाता है।"

सत्संग में अर्थ की प्रधानता नहीं होनी चाहिए
"जहां अर्थ की प्रधानता हो, वह सत्संग नहीं। संत निरपेक्ष होते हैं – मुनिम, शांत, निर्वैर, समदर्शी।"

"अगर कोई संत तुम्हें ज्यादा प्यार दिखाए, तो वह कसौटी पर कसने के लिए है, भ्रष्ट करने के लिए नहीं।"

संतों की भीड़ में असली-नकली की पहचान
"असली नोट है तो नकली भी है। नकली है तो असली भी है। सोच-समझकर सत्संग करें।"

"नकली हीरा बहुत मिल जाएगा, लेकिन असली हीरा वही है जो घन का प्रहार सह जाए। काम, क्रोध, लोभ, मोह, मद, मत्सर जिनके ऊपर प्रभाव न हो, वही असली संत है।"

संतों के लक्षण
"संतों का हृदय निर्मल होता है। संत कभी तुम्हारे साथ गलत व्यवहार नहीं करेगा। अगर करता है, तो वह संत नहीं है।"

"संतों के संग से कल्याण होता है, लेकिन सत्संग के रूप में कुसंग न आ जाए, इसका ध्यान रखना चाहिए।"

संत की पहचान के लिए अंतःकरण की शक्ति
"भगवान ने माताओं-बहनों में विशेष शक्ति दी है – एक दृष्टि में पता चल जाता है कि सामने वाला किस दृष्टि से देख रहा है। अगर किसी साधु में गलत हरकत दिखे, तो वहां न जाएं।"

"हमारे हृदय में भगवान बैठे हैं, उनसे पूछें कि सही है या गलत, तो उत्तर मिल जाएगा। जहां सही होगा, हृदय शीतल हो जाएगा, आनंदित हो जाएगा।"

सच्चे संत के लक्षण
"सच्चा संत तुम्हें छूने की चेष्टा करेगा तो डांट देगा – बच्चा दूर रह। धन, तन, भोग की मांग करने वाला कपटी है, संत नहीं है।"

"संत भगवान के पूर्ण आश्रित रहते हैं, भगवान उनका भरण-पोषण करते हैं। अर्थ, शरीर, भोग की लोलुपता जहां है, वहां पाखंड है।"

अश्रद्धा से बचाव
"अगर एक जगह किसी साधु से अश्रद्धा हो जाए, तो सब जगह अश्रद्धा न हो जाए। एक जगह गिरने से लाखों लोगों की श्रद्धा नष्ट हो जाती है।"

"शास्त्र, गुरु, संत, गुरु वाणी – इन्हीं से जीवन यात्रा चलती है।"

उत्तर प्रदेश में छांगुर बाबा को अवैध धर्मांतरण मामले में पकड़ा गया है। इसके साथ ही, मोहम्मद ताज नाम के एक और व्यक्ति को भी इसी मामले में गिरफ्तार किया गया है।
