देखो जब तक हमारे पूर्व पाप नष्ट नहीं होंगे तो हम कोई भी सफलता का कार्य करेंगे तो हमें असफलता में गिरा देंगे। हम बहुत सकारात्मक सोच रखना चाहेंगे। हमें नेगेटिव सोच में पहुंचा देंगे। यह है पाप का परिणाम। और पाप को नष्ट किए बिना हम सुखी नहीं हो सकते।
इसलिए पाप नष्ट करने के लिए और भी उपाय जैसे तीर्थ यात्रा है, गंगा स्नान है और भी है लेकिन सही सटीक पाप की जड़ का नाश कर दे नाम है।

आधा घंटा नाम कीर्तन करो जोर-जोर से और चलते फिरते नाम जप करो देखो सब पॉजिटिव हो जाएगा। आधा घंटा कोई नाम कीर्तन करो जो नाम प्रिय हो आपको – हरे कृष्ण हरे कृष्ण, श्री राम जय राम जय जय राम, जो भी, राधा राधा...
राधा खूब जोर-जोर से भगवान नाम कीर्तन करो और चलते फिरते नाम जप करो फिर देख लो आप उसका परिणाम, फिर आप खुद अनुभव करेंगे।

दो-चार दिन नहीं लंबे समय तक

लेकिन लंबे समय तक, दो-चार दिन किया फिर पाप कर लिया, फिर दो-चार दिन किया पाप किया, वो बात नहीं है। पाप आचरण रोक करके लंबे समय तक करो तो तुम्हारे पाप नष्ट हो जाएंगे, सफलता हाथ लग जाएगी।

सबको सफलता क्यों नहीं प्राप्त होती, सबको सुख प्राप्त क्यों नहीं होता, लेकिन सब लोग सुख के लिए ही कार्य करते और दुख क्यों प्राप्त होता है, उसका कारण पाप है।

हम पाप कर्म वर्तमान में भी करते हैं और जो भूत में पाप कर्म किए हैं, वह परिणाम में आ रहे हैं। इसलिए हम असफल हो रहे हैं, दुखी हो रहे हैं, चिंतित हो रहे हैं।

नाम जप करो, बहुत आनंद प्राप्त होगा। बहुत आनंद। हम कह रहे हैं लोक-परलोक के सब सुख आपको प्राप्त हो जाएंगे। आप डट के नाम जप तो करो।

पाप कर्म अंत में तुम्हारा नाश हो जाएगा

जैसे लोग कहते हैं कि नाम जप करने से क्या खाना मिल जाएगा? तुम खाना की बात क्या करते हो? अगर भगवान का नाम जप करो तो लोक-परलोक सब जगह सुख प्राप्त होता है।
जहां पाप नष्ट हुए तो सुख घेर लेता है। और अगर भाई पाप कर्म करोगे तो पुण्य के प्रताप से यक्ष मिल जरूर सकता है लेकिन तुम्हारा नाश हो जाएगा। अंत में तुम्हारा नाश हो जाएगा।
अंत में तुम जीरो पे होगे। कुछ तुम्हारे पास नहीं होगा। अगर नाम जप कर रहे हो, आज दुखी हो चिंता मत करो। कल सुखी हो जाओ।

मुझे आठ आठ दिन तक भोजन नहीं मिला था

हमको भोजन तक नहीं मिला। आठ-आठ दिन जो आज हम आपको प्रमाण दे रहे हैं कि हम गाड़ी पर चल रहे हैं तो कल हमको भोजन नहीं मिला। सर्दी में ओढने के लिए कंबल नहीं था। बोरा ओढ़ते थे। टाट-टाट समझ रहे हो ना जिसमें गेहूं का आटा भरा जाता है, वो बोरा ओढ़कर सर्दी पार करते थे।

आज राजा बाबू की तरह भगवान रख रहे हैं

और आज हम आपको क्या बताएं, जब आप समझ लो यही है तो क्या व्यवस्था नहीं होगी। हर व्यवस्था है। राजा बाबू की तरह भगवान रख रहे हैं। तो कल जो था वह जो दुख में था उसमें हम धर्म को नहीं त्यागा।

भागवतिक सुख बता भी नहीं सकते कि कितना भगवान आनंद देते हैं

बड़ी कठिनाई से आगे बढ़ते रहे। तो आज वह बात आ गई जो लौकिक और पारलौकिक – यह तो सांसारिक सुख है। लेकिन भागवतिक सुख हम तुम्हें बता भी नहीं सकते कि कितना भगवान हमें आनंद देते हैं।
इसलिए नाम जप करो चिंता ना करो। सफलता चरण चूमेगी। यदि भगवान की शरण में हो और भगवान के आश्रित हो।

प्रश्न
महाराज जी, निरंतर प्रयासों के बाद भी जब असफलता मिलती रहे तो स्वयं को मोटिवेट कैसे रखें?

महाराज जी का उत्तर-
क्या प्रयास करते हो? लौकिक ही प्रयास तो करते हो ना। अपने पूर्व पाप के नष्ट करने का प्रयास तो नहीं करते कि आप कोई अनुष्ठान कर रहे हैं, आप भजन कर रहे हैं। आप परोपकार कर रहे हैं। आप तीर्थ यात्रा कर रहे हैं पवित्र भाव से। यह तो सब कुछ है नहीं।
तो पूर्व में जो पाप कर्म किया है, अब जो आप सफलता के लिए प्रयास करते हैं, वो आपको असफल कर देता है, गिरा देता है।

बिना आध्यात्मिक प्रयास के विजय प्राप्त नहीं हो सकती

आपका प्रयास कोई आध्यात्मिक है क्या? तो फिर बिना आध्यात्मिक प्रयास के आप कैसे विजय प्राप्त कर सकते हैं?
जो हमने पूर्व में पाप किए हैं, गलतियां किए हैं, वह हमको दुख देंगे ना। हम पढ़-लिख के अच्छा बनना चाहते हैं, पर पाप हमको गिरा देंगे। हमारे पास सर्टिफिकेट लेकिन नौकरी नहीं मिलेगी। व्यापार में पैसा लगाते हैं, लेकिन सफलता नहीं मिलती है। तो, वह हमको दुख देगा ना पाप कर्म।
तो, उस पाप कर्म को नष्ट करने के लिए हम क्या प्रयास करते हैं? विचार कीजिए। कोई प्रयास नहीं करते ना? तो उसके लिए प्रयास करो।
हम कह रहे हैं कुछ मत करो। राधा-राधा-राधा-राधा-राधा नाम जपना शुरू करो। काउंटर लो और गिनती से 500 रोज नाम जप करो लंबे समय तक। फिर हमें बताओ।

यह नहीं कि अब चार दिन बाद हमसे प्रश्न करो कि 500 नाम जप किया, हमारी नौकरी नहीं लग गई। हमारा काम नहीं बना। लंबे समय तक जप कीजिए। फिर देखिए सफलता मिलती है कि नहीं।

प्रश्न-

कुछ जने बिना प्रयास के भी महाराज जी, क्या उनका पूर्व का पुण्य है?

उत्तर-

पूर्व का पुण्य है कि उनका प्रयास कोई ज्यादा प्रशंसनीय नहीं है, पर वह सफलता प्रशंसनीय प्राप्त कर रहे हैं। यह पूर्व का पुण्य है।
ऐसा भी देखा जाता है कि वो बिना उसमें योग्यता भी नहीं है। प्रयास भी नहीं और सफलता अधिक है। यह पूर्व का पुण्य उनका काम कर रहा है।

योग्यता है, प्रयास भी है लेकिन सफलता नहीं। यह पूर्व का पाप उसको गिरा रहा है।
क्रम होता है। जब पुण्य लगेगा तो आप पाप कर्म करो तो भी उन्नति होती चली जाएगी।
और जब पुण्य का संयोग आएगा जैसे पाप का लगा संयोग तो अब आप चाहे जितना पुण्य करो, आप चाहे जितना धर्म करो, वो आपको दुख ही देता चला जाएगा।
और पुण्य का संयोग है तो आप पाप कर्म करो तो भी आपको सुख मिलता चला जाएगा।
लेकिन जब यह पुण्य खत्म होगा और पूर्व का पाप और वर्तमान का पाप मिलेगा तो आपको कष्ट दे देगा।
और जब उनका पाप नष्ट हो जाएगा और तो यह पुण्य और वह पुण्य पीछे का जब मिलेगा तो उनकी उन्नति हो जाएगी।
यह एक क्रम है, ईश्वरीय जो ईश्वरी भागवती है, जो क्रम है, वह यह है।
तो इसलिए नाम जप करो और अपने पापों को भस्म करके आगे बढ़ो। नाम जप करो, ठीक है।
प्रतिकूलता और हतोत्साहित जब हो जाता हूं, ऐसी स्थिति आती है तो ऐसे समय में अपने को खुद को कैसे फोकस रखूं और प्रोत्साहित रखूं कि आगे का मार्ग प्रशस्त हो?

जब हम भगवान से चित्त जोड़ देते हैं तो इस प्रश्न का उत्तर अपने आप मिल जाता है।
ऐसा बल मिल जाता है कि हम उनको सह सकते हैं।
क्योंकि हम भगवान से जब चित्त जोड़े हैं ना तो हमारा मन आनंदित रहता है।
अगर मन आनंदित है तो हम विपत्तियों को रौंदते हुए निकल जाएंगे।
अगर हमारा मन आनंदित नहीं है तो फिर हम गिर जाएंगे और मन आनंदित होगा जब भगवान से जुड़े।
तो हम वही बात आपको सिखाना चाहते हैं कि भगवान से जुड़ो।
गंदा आचरण मत करो। पाप मत करो। मांस मदिरा का सेवन मत करो।
फिर देखो तुम्हारा चित्त कितना आनंदित रहता है।
कोई व्यसन ना हो और कोई पाप ना हो और थोड़ा भी भजन होगा तो आपका हृदय आनंदित रहेगा।
आप पक्का समझो, भगवदा आनंद से ही हम इन विपत्तियों से लड़ सकते हैं।
नहीं तो ऐसी-ऐसी विपत्तियां पूछो मत। ये माया इतनी विचित्र है, पूछो मत।
भोजन की थाली सामने आई और ढलंग गए। कवल नहीं खा पाए।
आराम से टहलते जा रहे, पीछे से टक्कर लगा मर गए।
हमारा कब शरीर छूट जाए, हमारा कब क्या घटना हो जाए, इस संसार में कहा नहीं जा सकता।
इसलिए मालिक से जुड़े रहो।
तो हम विपत्तियों पर तभी हावी हो सकते हैं, भारी पड़ सकते हैं जब भगवान से जुड़े।
नहीं, विपत्तियां हम पर भारी पड़ जाएंगी और हमको गिरा देंगी।
आदमी जब निर्णय नहीं कर पाता ना विपत्तियों में तो जो कर लेते हैं ना, वो यही, वह विपत्तियों से निकलने का रास्ता सोच लेते हैं, जबकि भारी विपत्ति में फंसा देने वाला है, प्रेत योनि मिलती है करने वाले को।
तो हम, हमारे ऊपर विपत्तियां भारी ना पड़े, इसलिए भगवान का नाम जप करें, भगवान से चित्त जोड़ें और यह विश्वास करें कि आज दुख आया है तो हट जाएगा, कल हमारे सामने सुख भी आएगा।
ऐसा नहीं है, जैसे दिन आया है तो रात आएगी। हम तैयारी रखें।
अगर रात आ गई है तो परेशान ना हो, दिन आने वाला है।

दुख आया है तो सुख आएगा। सुख आया है तो दुख आएगा।

ये क्रम चल रहा है, मनुष्य जीवन का क्रम है।
हमको तैयार रहना चाहिए।
जैसे हम रात्रि के लिए बिजली गई तो हम इन्वर्टर की व्यवस्था करते हैं, जनरेटर की व्यवस्था करते हैं कि हम अंधेरे से व्याकुल ना हो।
ऐसे ही दुख आने वाला है।
हम नाम जप करें, दान पुण्य करें, तीर्थ स्नान करें, तीर्थ यात्रा करें जिससे हमारे पास पुण्य हो और मैं उस पुण्य बल से विपत्ति को पार कर जाऊं।1

"Naam Sankirtanam yas sarva paap pranaashanam." Chant the Name loudly for half an hour and keep chanting while walking; you will see everything become positive. Chant any Name you like for half an hour – Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Shri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram, or Radha Radha...
Chant Radha's Name loudly and keep chanting while walking, then see the result for yourself.
But do it for a long time, not just for two or four days and then commit sin again. Stop sinful conduct and do it for a long time, then your sins will be destroyed, and you will achieve success.
Why does everyone not achieve success, why does everyone not get happiness, even though everyone works for happiness but gets sorrow? The reason is sin.
We commit sinful acts in the present, and the sins committed in the past are also bearing fruit. That is why we are failing, becoming unhappy, and worried.
Chant the Name, you will get immense joy. Immense joy. I am telling you, you will get all happiness in this world and the next. Just chant the Name with determination.
Some people say, will chanting the Name give us food? Why talk about food? If you chant God's Name, you will get happiness everywhere, in this world and the next.
Where sins are destroyed, happiness surrounds you. And if you commit sins, you may get things due to past merit, but in the end, you will be ruined. In the end, you will have nothing.
If you are chanting the Name and are sad today, do not worry. Tomorrow you will be happy.
There were days when I did not even get food for eight days. Today, I am telling you as proof – I was traveling, and the next day I did not get food. In winter, I had no blanket, used to cover myself with a sack, the same sack in which wheat flour is stored, and spent the winter like that.
And today, what can I tell you, when you understand this, then is there any arrangement that will not be made? Every arrangement is there. God keeps us like kings. So, in those days of sorrow, I did not abandon dharma.
Kept moving forward with great difficulty. Today, I have both worldly and spiritual happiness. But the divine happiness that God gives, I cannot even describe.
So chant the Name, do not worry. Success will kiss your feet if you take refuge in God and depend on Him.

Maharaj Ji, even after continuous efforts, when one keeps failing, how to stay motivated?

Maharaj ji's answer-
What efforts do you make? Only worldly efforts, right? You do not try to destroy your past sins by doing rituals, bhajan, charity, or pilgrimage with pure feelings.
The sins committed in the past, now when you try for success, they make you fail, make you fall.
So, is your effort spiritual? Without spiritual effort, how can you achieve victory?
The sins and mistakes we made in the past will give us sorrow. We want to become good by studying, but we will be made to fall. We have certificates but do not get jobs. We invest money in business but do not get success. So, sinful acts will give us sorrow.
What efforts do we make to destroy those sinful acts? Think about it. We do not make any effort, right? So, make an effort for that.
I am telling you, do nothing else. Start chanting "Radha Radha Radha Radha Radha." Take a counter and chant 500 Names daily. Then tell me after a long time.
Do not ask after four days that you chanted 500 Names but did not get a job or your work was not done. Chant for a long time, then see if you get success or not.
Some people, even without effort, Maharaj Ji, is it due to their past merit?
Yes, it is due to their past merit that even without much effort, they are getting success.
It is also seen that some do not even have ability.
Absolutely, no ability, no effort, but more success. This is their past merit working.
Some have ability and effort but no success. This is their past sin pulling them down.
There is a sequence. When merit is in effect, even if you commit sin, you will keep progressing.
And when the combination of sin comes, no matter how much merit or dharma you do, you will keep getting sorrow.
And when merit is in effect, even if you commit sin, you will keep getting happiness.
But when this merit ends and past and present sins combine, you will get suffering.
And when their sins are destroyed, and the merit from the past and present comes together, they will progress.
This is a divine sequence, a divine order.
So, chant the Name and burn your sins, move forward. Chant the Name, okay?
When I become discouraged and demotivated in adversity, how do I keep myself focused and motivated to move forward?
When we connect our mind to God, the answer to this question comes automatically.
We get such strength that we can bear them.
Because when we connect our mind to God, our mind remains joyful.
If the mind is joyful, we will overcome adversities.
If our mind is not joyful, we will fall, and the mind will be joyful only when connected to God.
So, we want to teach you to connect with God.
Do not indulge in bad conduct. Do not commit sin. Do not consume meat or alcohol.
Then see how joyful your mind remains.
If there is no addiction and no sin, and even a little bhajan is done, your heart will remain joyful.
Be sure, only with divine joy can we fight adversities.
Otherwise, there are such adversities, do not ask. This Maya is so strange, do not ask.
The plate of food is in front, and you fall before eating.
Walking peacefully, get hit from behind and die.
When our body will leave us, when what will happen in this world, cannot be said.
Therefore, stay connected to the Lord.
We can overcome adversities only when connected to God.
Otherwise, adversities will overpower us and make us fall.
When a person cannot decide in adversity, those who do, they find a way out, but those who do not, get stuck in great adversity, even get a ghostly birth.
So, adversities do not overpower us, so chant God's Name, connect your mind to God, and have faith that if sorrow has come today, it will go away, and happiness will come tomorrow.
Just as day comes, night will come. Be prepared.
If night has come, do not worry, day will come.
If sorrow has come, happiness will come. If happiness has come, sorrow will come.
This sequence is going on, it is the sequence of human life.
We should be prepared.
Just as we arrange for an inverter or generator for the night if electricity goes out, so that we are not troubled by darkness,
similarly, sorrow will come.
We should chant the Name, do charity, bathe in holy places, go on pilgrimages, so that we have merit, and with the strength of that merit, we can overcome adversity.1
